“will you regret not going on this trip?”

Tomorrow I leave for a trip that 9 months ago I was certain I wouldn’t be able to do.

For me, being a small business owner means being in a constant state of personal growth. One area of growth is realizing I have to have time away from the business.

Jason, Andrea, and Casey when I kept saying I just don’t think I can leave, I can’t be gone that long, how am I ever going to make this happen etc etc! All of you saw what I couldn’t see in myself.

Andrea I will never forget you asking me “will you regret not going on this trip?” Yes absolutely! You looked me dead in my eyes and said then you will not speak of not going again. You are going!! I didn’t let it be an option again. It’s what I needed to hear to give myself permission to be ok with it.

My crew who has stepped up. Emma for taking the lead, Karissa for being an incredible teammate to her and Bailey and Lanie for helping fill in the gaps. I wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you! I’m at complete peace knowing you all have this

Jason I can’t even begin to express what your support has meant to me. Your constant reassurance and encouragement is priceless. You weren’t going to let me pass up this trip no matter what!

I don’t run Good Grounds on my own, I don’t put in the 50-60 hour weeks,sometimes more on my own. I have this incredible tribe that’s behind me encouraging, supporting and reminding me to take care of me
